Rocky Hill Post Office Passport Day

To apply for a passport, travelers need to complete a passport application Form DS-11 (unsigned) and provide one of the following: a U.S. birth certificate from the Dept. of Vital Statistics (not a certificate of birth) or naturalization papers. Also either a valid driver's license, a previous or current US Passport book or card, certificate of naturalization, certificate of citizenship, military ID or federal, sate, or municipal government employee ID card. Applicants 15 or under must be present with both parents unless consent is given; ages 16 or 17, only one parent must be present. Bring your checkbook to the Post Office office at 130 Washington Street, Rocky Hill.
 

Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

A Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will be hosted by Blawenburg Church on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, November 21, at 7:30 pm. Blawenburg Church is located at 424 Route 518 in Blawenburg Village. (For GPS use Skillman 08558).

Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra (GPYO) Winter Concert

GPYO presents its annual winter concert, open to public with free admission.The Symphonic and Concert Orchestras are presenting works by Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, Mendelssohn, Newbold and Rachmaninoff under the baton of Mr. Kawika Kahalehoe and Mr. Christopher Beckett. This will be a delight to all as well as an inspiration to upcoming musicians in the area. The concert is being presented at the Performing Arts Center, Montgomery High School, Skillman, NJ. Rockingham Candle Light Tour

Because space is limited, tour reservations are required and must be made by calling 609-683-7132 through Nov. 19 or 609-683-7136 after Nov. 19. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family. Tours will be offered at least every half-hour, with 3:30 being the last tour. This program is made possible by the Live Historians, Rockingham Association, the Stony Brook Garden Club and the NJ Division of Parks & Forestry.

Ashley Henderson-Huff Memorial Drive Dedication Dec 19

There will be a dedication of a new street sign in honor of former Montgomery High School student, Lt. Ashley Henderson-Huff, MHS '00, at the main drive into MHS at 8:30 am on Tuesday, December 19.
It will be followed by an indoors assembly with students, township and district administrators. Ashley's father, Mark, will also be in attendance.


Ashley, a military police officer who was killed in Iraq in 2006, was the first New Jersey woman to be killed in the war.
